Here is the list of items we check and services with our Advantage Program customers.

Air Conditioning

  • Check and replace the air filter (standard 1”)
  • Clean and flush condensate pan and drain lines
  • Clean and flush the condensate pump if present
  • Check the evaporator coil (if accessible)
  • Check electrical connections and all electrical components
  • Check thermostat operation and programming
  • Check indoor blower operation and balance
  • Remove condensing unit cover
  • Clean debris from outdoor condenser
  • Chemically clean outdoor condenser coil
  • Start and test the cooling system
  • Check operating pressures, temperatures, and refrigerant charge
  • Check the operation of all safeties

Furnaces

  • Clean burners & pilot assembly
  • Check and replace air filter (standard 1”)
  • Check and tighten electrical connections
  • Check thermostat operation and programming
  • Clean condensate trap and drains (90% furnaces)
  • Check blower motor and inducer assembly for proper balance
  • Vacuum/clean blower compartment etc.
  • Check the hot surface ignitor
  • Clean flame sensor and/or thermocouple
  • Check flues and/or 90% venting for obstructions of leaks
  • Run furnace, check and adjust gas pressures, check flames

Boilers

  • Clean boiler sight glass
  • Check operation of the automatic water feeder if present
  • Check boiler and piping for any visible leaks
  • Run the boiler and check the complete operation
  • Check operation of low water cutoff
  • Check all air vents for proper operation
  • Check expansion/Extrol tank for proper pressure
  • Check operation of all pumps and zone valves
  • Check the all zones, baseboards and/or radiators
