  1. IGNORING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
    Letting your AC run year after year without a checkup is like driving your car for 50,000 miles without an oil change. Dust buildup, low refrigerant, and worn parts can all reduce efficiency and cause unexpected breakdowns during a heatwave. A professional tune-up keeps your system running at peak performance and catches small issues before they become costly repairs.

  2. BLOCKING OR CLOSING VENTS

    Many homeowners think closing vents in unused rooms saves energy. In reality, it throws off your system’s airflow and can cause pressure imbalances that wear out your unit faster. Keep vents open and unobstructed to maintain even, efficient cooling throughout your entire home.

  3. SETTING THE THERMOSTAT TOO LOW

    Cranking your thermostat to 65°F won’t cool your home any faster—it just forces your system to work harder and longer. The U.S. Department of Energy recommends setting your thermostat to 78°F when you’re home and a bit higher when you’re away for maximum efficiency.

  4. OVERLOOKING ATTIC AND DUCT INSULATION

    An under-insulated attic or leaky ductwork can let precious cool air escape. That means your system has to run longer to maintain comfort, especially when outside temperatures are soaring. Sealing ducts and boosting insulation can significantly improve your home’s energy efficiency.

  5. RELYING ON AN OUTDATED AC UNIT

    Older air conditioners (especially those over 10–15 years old) simply weren’t built for the climate extremes we’re experiencing today. If your unit struggles to keep up, it may be time to explore a high-efficiency replacement.

Our oil furnace died in mid October, right as the weather was starting to get cold. We knew we wanted to switch to natural gas but were intimidated by the process and nervous it would take too long. After getting a few quotes, we were most impressed with Air Professionals and felt we were getting the most for our money, and I’m so happy we chose to move forward! They were on top of everything and even managed to expedite the permit process with the township. The whole team was great- especially Sean and Melissa. Our new gas furnace was fully installed and ready to use within 11 days of getting our quote! Highly recommend and would use again.

Davis came and serviced my two Carrier HVAC units today. He was here when he said he would be, serviced both units, and went over the results with me. In my opinion, he did a great job. He found a part that was operating, but not operating correctly. He ordered a new part, under warrantee, it will be installed next week. He was here for about 2 hours checking the units out. Nice, polite, professional guy. He is a credit to Air Professionals.

10/18/2019 Drew came and serviced my two Carrier units, and as usual, he was as courteous and professional as they come. The units checked out ok, he did fix and issue I was having and all is well. Air Professionals are what the name implies. Professional. Thanks for a great job, again.

10/16/2020 Kemp serviced my units and did an excellent job as usual.
Our units check out ok and I believe that is because I have them looked at twice a year by Air Professionals. I've never had an issue with them or their technicians.

6/17/2024 Nick did the maintenance on our two systems. Did a excellent job. Very nice and pleasant professional. Was here on time, did his job and an hour later he was done.

11/5/2025 Greg services our units. Did a good job. Found some issues that may need attention. Left the decision up to me. I believe he did a good job. Nice guy also.

Ryan G. performed our winter service on my furnace this week and also made a repair our whole house humidifier. He was very friendly and professional and I was very pleased with the quality of his work. Excellent technician.

Our oil furnace died in mid October, right as the weather was starting to get cold. We knew we wanted to switch to natural gas but were intimidated by the process and nervous it would take too long. After getting a few quotes, we were most impressed with Air Professionals and felt we were getting the most for our money, and I’m so happy we chose to move forward! They were on top of everything and even managed to expedite the permit process with the township. The whole team was great- especially Sean and Melissa. Our new gas furnace was fully installed and ready to use within 11 days of getting our quote! Highly recommend and would use again.

Davis came and serviced my two Carrier HVAC units today. He was here when he said he would be, serviced both units, and went over the results with me. In my opinion, he did a great job. He found a part that was operating, but not operating correctly. He ordered a new part, under warrantee, it will be installed next week. He was here for about 2 hours checking the units out. Nice, polite, professional guy. He is a credit to Air Professionals.

10/18/2019 Drew came and serviced my two Carrier units, and as usual, he was as courteous and professional as they come. The units checked out ok, he did fix and issue I was having and all is well. Air Professionals are what the name implies. Professional. Thanks for a great job, again.

10/16/2020 Kemp serviced my units and did an excellent job as usual.
Our units check out ok and I believe that is because I have them looked at twice a year by Air Professionals. I've never had an issue with them or their technicians.

6/17/2024 Nick did the maintenance on our two systems. Did a excellent job. Very nice and pleasant professional. Was here on time, did his job and an hour later he was done.

11/5/2025 Greg services our units. Did a good job. Found some issues that may need attention. Left the decision up to me. I believe he did a good job. Nice guy also.
